Secret #15. I would go super hetero for the honorable Judge Marilyn Milian from The People's Court. That's right. If this fiery latino cougar walked up to my door in North Hollywood, and proposed that I come live with her and be her kept man, I would dump Paul in a heartbeat. I know that sounds horrible, but how can any man resist this lady? She will keep your ass in check, read you to filth when you are fucking up, she's working that bangin' hair and those awesome hoops, and she's rich. I know I'm not the only one who has gay love for Miz Milian. Come on homos, fess up. Don't gimme any of this Wonder Woman bullshit, either.

Spoilers, IMDB and Wikipedia [May. 18th, 2008|11:20 pm]

OK, I need to make a clarification. I'd recently posted and Twitter'd that IMDB.com doesn't have any spoiler warnings. (For some reason I thought I'd seen a statement that said quite literally that spoilers should be included and no warning provided.) Well I guess I mis-remembered things a bit. I had, in fact, seen that statement, but not on IMDB.com; rather I saw it on Wikipedia. D'oh!

There I saw wording even stronger than I had remembered:

It is not acceptable to delete information from an article because you think it spoils the plot. Such concerns must not interfere with neutral point of view, encyclopedic tone, completeness, or any other element of article quality.

I don't like that idea, but I guess there's not much I can do. I just wish there were at least warnings. I suppose users could always add spoiler alerts if they wanted to be courteous.

So yeah, IMDB officially does tell users to avoid spoilers when submitting content. (Though, it looks like it's not policed.)

In any case, the plot keyword spoiler I thought I saw? Looks like it's a hoax anyways... maybe even a foiler. Clever.

Sorry for the mix-up.

(And yes I recognize the infinitesimal significance of this whole topic, however I do believe in setting the record straight.)

This just proves to me that no longer watching Desperate Housewives was a good decision.

Marc Cherry is now using flash-forwards as part of the plot.

Really? Wow. Who would have ever thought of doing that?

Oh, wait, I know...

LOST!!! Which has been doing it for an entire season already, ya friggin hack.

(Oh, and in the story I linked above, it talks about how the season was wrapped up...oy).

San Diegans (and Californians) listen-up: vote on June 3rd [May. 18th, 2008|09:58 pm]

[Current Location |San Diego, CA]

San Diegans (and Californians, for that matter...)

Elections are coming-up on June 3, 2008. This particular ballot includes some very important races for us, including Mayor, City Attorney, Congress, State Senate, State Assembly and Superior Court Judges, several propositions, and more.

San Diegans: if you're not sure if you're registered, you can check online instantly, right now!
http://www2.sdcounty.ca.gov/rov/Eng/Evoter_query.asp

If you're not registered, act fast! The deadline to be registered for this election is TOMORROW, May 19. If you are in possession of a registration form, you can mail it... just make sure it's postmarked by May 19. If you don't have a form, you can register in-person at the Registrar of Voters office, or several other locations. Call (858) 565-5800 for details.

Did you know anyone in San Diego can totally vote by mail now? So you don't even have to go to the polls on June 3... very convenient. Refer to the San Diego Voters website for more info:
http://www.sdvote.com

You should register to vote, even if you're a new resident in California. There's no waiting period or minimum time of residence. You can register now.

It's worth noting that current San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders, and current City Attorney Michael Aguirre are both running for re-election, and both recently praised the California Supreme Court's ruling to legalize gay marriage. (Then again, there are other factors to consider, too, so it's good to get educated.)

Here are a few places where you can educate yourself on the stuff you'll be voting-on:

what a nice [May. 18th, 2008|09:35 pm]

that_grr
few days.

Dinner and hanging with my big brother Jason with a run in with Luke before food where he promised to help me move so I don't have to hire movers, ain't that sweet!!

My coworker/pal Don gave me a windows laptop so I am now dual platform at home.

Went to see Robyn with Robbie and got to spend time chatting and getting to know him. Good people, I mean really good people.

Then yesterday Victor so kindly took me to get new suction then we had dinner with Clifton who I never see nearly enough.

Today was a work day but I managed to sneak in break time to plan the wedding and honeymoon with my fiance. We decided to both wear dresses ..with a twist ;)

Then I went and bought some new pillows since mine are getting flat and lumpy. I also bought new pans. My very own pans for my very own kitchen that I need to build in a month or so.

And now I am fixin to clean my room a bit then sleep.

Tomorrow is a movie with my pal/sis Tommy YAY!!

Oh and on Thursday I get to /meet my pal Hank from Michigan for a bit. Yes Andy that Hank is gonna be in SF for a few days.

Operation Lioncash is underway here in San José [May. 18th, 2008|09:44 pm]

jameth

It is rumored that certain places in the Bay Area, specifically Walnut Creek, do not accept Lioncash. The US economy will be brought to a standstill shortly due to this epidemic.

Any advice on how to do this with coins?
